She has been fortunate enough to learn from classical stalwarts from her initial training years: Late Shri Gopal Phadke, Ustaad Shafaat Khan (Etawah Gharana), late Pandit Vijay Kichlu (Agra Gharana), late Pandit M.G. Patwardhan (Jaipur Gharana), Vidushi Subhra Guha (Agra gharana), Pandit Sudheer Pote (Jaipur gharana), and Smt. Mitali Bhawmik (blend of gharanas)
